This tie is super sharp, and I can wear it with a burgundy to purple shirt, a sage green shirt, a dark blue shirt, and, of course, a white shirt. It would even look great with a muted orange shirt, though I would want to make sure I wore a jacket if I wore and orange shirt, because I do NOT want to detract from the tie! Very well-designed. I don't wear my bow ties often, so when the occasion presents itself, it HAS to be the right style and color. The design of the fabric and the palette makes this tie versatile enough to wear in a formal setting, or semi-contemporary. You will not be disappointed with this one!!
