    Beautiful, but fabric is stiff

    I appreciate Beau Ties sending me a fabric swatch before I ordered, and the jacquard pattern is beautiful. I just wasn't expecting the fabric to be so stiff.
    I can't get it to drape nicely as shown on the website, even when I pin it in place. Instructions say not to wash it, so I don't want to risk ruining it in an attempt to soften it up. Instructions also say not to iron it, but I had to because it came with very strong creases. The ironing didn't seem to do any harm. The creases relaxed a bit, but didn't really come out.
    It fulfills what I needed -- a white scarf for neckline modesty with low V-neck sweaters -- but I will continue looking for another white scarf that will drape better.
    If you're looking for a dressy jacquard scarf that's stiff, to go with tailored blazers and coats, this would be ideal.
