White Linen Pocket Square

I thought a 100% linen 13" x 13" pocket square with hand-rolled edges for only $15 was a great deal. My expectations weren't too high considering the price point. In other words, I knew I wasn't going to be getting the highest quality linen fabric out there. I did, however, expect that this pocket square was what the description said it was.

Upon receiving my pocket square in the mail, I opened it up and was not surprised that the linen material was quite thin. However, I quickly noticed that there was an extra thin spot or stain right near the center. I was already annoyed by that.

I began to see how it looked in my suit jacket with different folds. I felt that it was somewhat small after multiple fold attempts. I took out a fabric measuring tape to find that this pocket square was only 12" x 12" when fully stretched. A whole 25 sq. inches less than what it is advertised to be.

Lastly, I was quite disappointed when I saw the tag..."Made in China"
All over this site, I was led to believe that all these products are made in Vermont, USA. Especially with statements such as this on their site:

"As a made-to-order products company, you get the benefit of careful workmanship and impeccable fabrics in the size and style you like. Not that mass-produced stuff from China."

After coming back I do see that their description says that this is an imported item. But still the site makes it seem like maybe the fabric comes from China and then put together in the States. I don't know, but I was disappointed to see that.

I did appreciate that the company was relatively quick to ship it out and didn't take long at all to get to me. But overall I'm quite disappointed in this pocket square and wish my experience was a different story.

One can never have too many nice white pocket squares...this one qualifies!

i truly understand how to fold a pocket square now after finding some excellent videos on youtube. i tried to learn how to fold one through text explanations/photos but were not adequate enough for my learning style. this pocket square is made well at a good price.
