A surgical mask may be a sort of personal protective equipment (PPE) that usually fits loosely over the nose and mouth. These masks protect against large cough or sneeze droplets, splashes, or sprays, but they can't put out protection against smaller droplets. Having access to medical grade masks is great, but it is also safe to wear Plaid Face Masks.

People should prevent sharing these masks, which might include or without a face shield. Researchers know that the one use of a medical mask isn't always feasible but note that it's preferable because long-term use and reuse may lead to self-contamination. It is wise to know the quality of the mask before wearing one, and it is wise to have Plaid Face Masks placed on.
