When a person infected COVID-19 gets to breathe, speak, cough or sneeze, they release particles which may have the virus that causes COVID-19. These particles can be absorbed or introduced by another person. Surfaces and belongings can also be contaminated with COVID-19 when persons who are infected cough or sneeze near them, or if they come in contact with them after coughing or sneezing onto their hands.

By putting a cover in your nose and mouth with a face covering, you’ll lessen the spread of droplets and aerosols carrying the virus by limiting the amount of the virus being spread when you talk and breathe, assisting in the  protection of others.
