Bow Tie Widths
In order to best suit the wide ranges of tastes of our Beau Ties Guys, we make bow ties in the sizes pictured below. If you'd prefer to tie one on in a truly personal style, we're glad to make ties in your own Custom pattern.
 Slimline / Standard The Slim Line (SL) is 2-1/2 inches high in classic butterfly shape. This bow tie width is preferred by a majority of our customers. |
 Butterfly / Jumbo The Butterfly (BF) is 3-1/2 inches high. Our equivalent of a "Big and Tall" size. |
 Very Slimline A straight cut, 1-1/2 inch Very Slimline (VSL) - works best with small patterns and solid colors. |
 "Thistle" Slimline Diamond-Point The Slimline Diamond-Point (TDP) is 2-1/2 inches high, and based upon our Slimline/Standard (SL) size ties. |
 "Batwing" Very Slim Diamond-Point The Very Slim Diamond-Point (BWDP) is 1-1/2 inches high, and based upon our Very Slimline (VSL) size ties. |
Neck Tie Widths
In order to best suit the wide range of tastes of our Beau Ties Guys, we make select neck ties as 2-1/2" wide Thin (or "Skinny") ties as well as our Standard width of 3-5/8" (pictured below at left and right, respectively). If you'd prefer to tie one on in a truly personal style, we're glad to make ties in your own Custom pattern.
Bow Tie Neck Styles
Pick the neck style that works best for you: Tie one on yourself with a Freestyle, or go with a Pre-Tied or Clip On bow tie. Please note that Pre-Tied and Clip On ties are made to order and may require up to three weeks for creation and shipment.

Bow Tie Neck Sizes
Our Freestyle and Pre-Tied bow ties have a range of approximately 2" in Neck Size adjustment - for example, a bow tie is adjustable to fit 15 1/2" to 17 1/2" necks. (We'll make your bow ties for neck sizes from 14" to 23" at no extra charge).
Necktie Lengths and Widths
Our neckties range from 57" to 58" long, and 3-5/8" to 4" wide. If you're not sure what tie length you normally wear, simply lay out one of your current ties and measure it end to end. Unless it is more than a couple of inches longer or shorter than 57" - 58", our standard necktie should fit you comfortably. If you are more than 6 foot 2 inches tall and/or have a large neck size, then you should be wearing extra long ties.
