Just recieved my new Bow Tie and I was very happy with the quality of the Bow Tie and it's craftsmanship.
Although the use of full evening dress has fallen dramatically in past years, those of us who hope to keep it alive will be thrilled with this tie. I ordered it in diamond point and it gives a thrilling Gatsby look to the soup and fish. I should add that most fashion mavens state that only square-ended ties are appropriate for evening dress, but I say give it a try once in a while.
Great bowtie for formal wear. The pique texture lends to a classic look and feel.
The tie itself is just great. The quality feels excellent and I loved the pique cotton look - it was exactly what I wanted. I really liked that variety in style I could choose from. I wanted a slimmer look, so I went with the slimmest bow tie. It looks so cool. The only concern I had upon receiving the tie was the size-adjusting method. It's the same type of sliding adjustable loop that you might find on the back of a baseball hat or a backpack strap. This made for a slight bump in the tie while it was around my neck. But I quickly stopped noticing it, and it didn't show in pictures. As for the purchase process, I had an excellent experience purchasing my tie. I had called their customer service a few times before making my purchase to ask questions. They were always very knowledgeable and informative on the phone. Then, I made my order and wanted expedited (priority) shipping instead of regular first class because my wedding was coming up fast. There's a slight additional charge for this. When I ordered the tie, I forgot to click priority. I immediately emailed them to ask to upgrade me to priority and charge my credit card. They said no problem, but they'll do it for no charge! The tie arrived in a few days, carefully packaged. And to my pleasant surprise, they included a free flower lapel pin! AND, it's made in America. Perfect.
