This is a beautiful piece. It is well made and my brother was pleased to receive it as a gift. The craftmanship is lovely.

I was so pleased with this hanger. Plenty of pegs for the ties, beautifully crafted, sturdy, and the right size. It was just what I was looking for and my boyfriend couldn't be happier. A great gift idea!

Good, but needs "room" for improvement.

I ordered this rack with a selection of freestyle bow ties because it appeared to be the perfect solution to be able to hang all my bows together, so they're not sharing other racks with my regular neckties. I even waited longer to receive it, because when the ties arrived, the rack was out of stock and back-ordered. The front of the rack, while it looks neat, should have been tested by the maker and by Beau Ties of Vermont for performance before marketing. There are two flaws in it. FLAW 1: the hanging pegs are too close together to be able to easily hang ties on every peg. The pegs are on one-inch centers in a zig-zag pattern. Once a tie is hung on a peg, the thickness of the fabric makes it impossible to easily and smoothly hang another tie on the very next peg, which will be slightly above or below the first peg. The thickness of the fabric of both ties was not allowed for. The tendency is to hang the tie at the length adjustment link closest to the center. The presence of that little metal connector makes it even harder to fit the ties on the hanger pegs. The size of the rack's wood panel allows for room to place the pegs further apart, and it needs to be redesigned and TESTED before selling. FLAW 2: The peg material, while smooth wood, is NOT SMOOTH ENOUGH to slide a delicate-finished tie fabric over the peg in the TIGHT SPACE without snagging and catching on the surface. ALL of my (now 23) ties, whether silk, wool or cotton, "drag" and "catch" on the surface of the pegs. The peg material should be perhaps be lacquered, or lacquered brass(?) or stainless steel with a perfectly smooth surface to avoid this annoyance, and ultimately, damage to the fabric of the tie.
