Hurricane Irene hit Vermont with a vengeance. While Beau Ties came through the storm with nary a scratch, a vast number of our friends and neighbors around the State (including one of our own employees) have lost homes, crops, livestock and livelihoods.
We are firm believers in supporting good causes, and we also subscribe - when it's appropriate - to the notion that "charity begins at home".
