I was in Amsterdam this past summer and saw a striped diamond pointed tie and it looked good. So I ordered Boodles in a s slimline diamond point and I love it. Like all bow ties, it makes a distinct statement and maybe the stripe of "Boodles" helps but the points somehow "work". I will always choose more traditional slimlines but I have already ordered another diamond point and will continue to make that a viable option.
